Groovy Sessions celebrates its 5th anniversary
On 6th of May we are going to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Groovy Sessions and the endless enthusiasm that Dossiu Amudjev, Funkusion and DJ Oto demonstrate over the past years. And although the scene, the clubs and the audience have changed a lot in that time, Groovy Sessions remains one of the few quality platforms that represent adequately all the old and new music trends. The line up for the party is:
Funktool (Basstards) is specializing in jazzy breaks, funk, breaks and trip-hop sound. He is an undisputable talent with great hearing and approach to music for which we are going to talk a lot in the future. If you have not heard the name Funktool, a good start would be to auscultate his podcast "The Funky Basstards"
Dossiu Amudjhev (Groovy Sessions)
Creator of the show Groovy Sessions, Producer, DJ and a music critic, Dossiu Amudjev began to promote funk, jazz and fusion in Bulgarian clubs in the mid 90s. Presenting the relationship between old and new artists in his sets he mixes funk, soul, Broken beat, break beat and Latin.
Makopa & Funkusion (Groovy Sessions)
Makopa and Funkusion create a homogeneous mixture of funk, boogie and disco, and especially for May the 6th, they will be involved with I Like My Synthesizier
Stoyo (Monokom)
Stoyo is a music lover and a collector for almost 10 years. His great passion is for disco from the 70s, but he can also show impressive knowledge of reggae, dub, trip-hop, funk and soul.
Oto (Groovy Sessions)
The third member of Groovy Sessions specializes in summer rhythms and melodies and his style ranges from reggae to dub and Latin, bossa nova and Brazilian groovse with a club sound.
The party will be held on May 6, the place is a club "Mixtape 5", 1 Bulgaria Blvd, underpass 'Gallery'.
